And we'll linger on.. time cannot erase a feeling this strong

Visited Lena last weekend. Updated her on my life. Hope she can see us all from the heavens and that she's doing fine there. =)

Been working at CS's office in Changi for the past week. Will be there for another week at least. Due to the lack of seats for the 5 contractors I'm in charge of cuz I'm overseeing this backlog project, I have to be separated from my team and be with the 5 newbies. Being in Changi is not a terrible thing. The lack of decent food is. Can't wait for the re-stack in ORQ so I can move back and bring the 5 together to be with my teammates so as to relieve some burden. I'm experiencing a whole new level of work stress. Training and taking care of 5 all by myself is not a joke. But I'm handling it the best I can.

Been working an average of 11 hours a day for the past week, I really wanted to make full use of my weekend.

Went to Wala's for the first time after work on Friday. EIC performed and they were good. The nerdy-looking guitarist had my attention cuz of his cute behaviour and his pimply face. Not to mention there were the gays and this super weird girl who were pretty entertaining and possessed respectively.

Watched Jeryd play soccer on saturday morning and bumped into Bernard Feng (Bernie, from blk E, rem?). Watched Singapore vs Saudi Arabia in the evening. My first visit to the national stadium, and it may very well be my last time too. It was funny, listening to the comments the spectators around us were making. It's kind of awkward, watching a match when I'm not a supporter of either teams, but being Singaporean, I wore red. It felt more right when I wore orange to watch Sheares matches. It was fun nonetheless, hearing people shout butoh.

The incredible hulk was so-so.

Sleep was awesome.

And my weekend is over. Till the next one...

David Cook's always be my baby has been in my head since friday night after I heard it on radio in the office just before I left for wala wala. Coincidentally, EIC performed it, and it just kept playing over and over again in my mind. Now it's on repeat on iTunes.

Lust, Caution.

If you really like Tony Leung, don't watch the show. Then again, you may be impressed with his acting.

Nothing much to say. His orgas look totally freaked me out.

3/5 coco crunches for storyline.

Btw, I think this is the 1st R21 movie I've watched on the big screen. Interesting.

So do people really have sex filming R21 sex scenes? Or maybe it's just very good cinematography?

=)

Hunting and Gathering, starring Audrey Tautou, is a really heartwarming and slightly romantic movie. All her movies are romantic anyway. I'll give it 4.5 out of 5 coco crunches. Oh, and the lead looks like McDreamy.

It's 4512221x better than Superbad.

Had a good Sunday. Ate popcorn out of a transparent plastic bag. Felt the hot sun on my skin and cool wind on my face.

My break has just begun =)

Seriously

DO NOT watch Superbad. As the name of the movie suggests, it IS bad.

It's supergay, and supersuck.

881

If you don't like Jack Neo, I understand why. This isn't Neo. You have to watch 881 (although some may beg to differ). There are fresh faces on the big screen instead of the usual lao zha bor and child-stars and hui ge and mark lee.

Hokkien songs never sounded so nice. And the costumes are so ge-tai glam!!

4/5 coco crunches.

Ge tai anyone?

Pirates... Whatever.

Those who're going to watch Pirates 3, stay till the credits finish rolling. Cuz there's a snippet of "10 years later".

Guys, we missed it.

It's embarrassing. I haven't dozed off in the cinema for a long long time, and I dozed off twice watching Pirates 3. And it wasn't even a night show. I remember dozing off watching Pirates 1.. Think I was watching in Jerm's room in when we were in Year 1.

Lots of funny parts in the show. I love Johnny Depp. He's so quirky and weird and he's damn good. I got to get my hands on Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Anyway, I really didn't like Will Turner cuz he keeps switching sides. The focus seemed to be Bloom and Knightly instead on Depp, which I wish wasn't the case.

2/5 coco crunches.

By the way, I tried "whatever" today. It costs $1.30 from 7-11 and guess what I got. Chrysanthemum tea. Yucks. My colleague bought "anything" and she got the cola. Double yucks. Cuz it ain't Coca Cola.

I shot my wife... Prove it.

Ryan Gosling is actually quite charming. Saw him in the Notebook and United States of Leland with his scrawny body and didn't think much of him. In Fracture, he actually looks like he has a toned body although he didn't bare enough (at least I think he should've showed off his abs if he had any). Simply love the confidence he exudes in the show, and his cleanly-shaved face which is so different from his roles in Notebook & US of L.

Alright, other than Gosling, the movie is nice cuz Anthony Hopkins has expertise in psychotic roles (e.g. Hannibal) except he's not exactly psychotic here. A little sick in the head, but an extremely clever man. His winking skill is TOPS. 10/10.

Maybe I was slow but I couldn't solve the mystery until it was revealed at the end of the movie. That kinda makes it interesting as the plot progressed.

So if you have some time and cash to spare, go watch Fracture. I'll give it 4/5 coco crunches.

Yuki & Yaki

Watched 300 today. It's a nice show.. with fantasy aspects like a gollum-lookalike and really ugly immortals and creatures. Go watch it if you haven't! Remember to check out the Spartan's bodies. ;) I'll give the show a 4/5 coco crunches.

Dinner was at Yuki & Yaki... you can pay $2 for the ice-cream buffet which isn't very nice but it's a lot of fun. Check out the sprite snow-dog. It was intended to look like a snowman but with some creativity, it looks like a dog.

Ok, another weekend well-spent. Can't wait for the next weekend!

bah

3 more days and I don't have to drive with a P-plate. But we've returned the car.. so it's 100% public transport from today onwards.

I'm becoming a passenger.. again.

I'm a Cyborg, but that's ok is not as nice as I thought it would be. I'll give it a 1.5/5 coco crunches. Don't watch it unless you feel like wasting your money and time, or if you really like Rain. His performances in the 2 k-dramas I've watched were way better in my opinion.

Nothing else to say.
