orientation for the freshmen has already started since monday, and i'm pretty tired already. 4 more days to go before it ends.
nothing much to say here. i've got stuffs in my mind i'd like to say but i'm juz too lazy and really not in the mood to. things like funny stuffs and funny pple i met these 2 days of orientation, cute guys, weird guys.
but i'm really the kind who always have things to say but juz too plain lazy to tell. serious.
i'll go wait for my hair to dry and hit the sack asap. i still have a long week ahead of me.

the most unfortunate thing that could happen to me on my move-in-back-to-sheares day is that my fucking matric card isn't coded properly. i couldn't open the side gate of blk A and of coz i couldn't open my new room. went to look for my blk's RF but he wasn't at home. GREAT. had to trouble blk B's RF but he and his wife were very kind to help me get a special key to open my room. phew. well it wasn't my fault in the first place that the stupid card isn't working well.
most of the stuffs r still in the boxes lying ard everywhere. too lazy to unpack everything tonite. it's v lonely in here, since most of the pple aren't back yet. im glad there's jerm and lena on my wing now =)
i'll go tidy up more and then hit the sack.
this place feels so much like home =)

i have to rant. woke up at 6 this morning. chased the damn bus that goes to eunos. alighted at eunos and couldn't get on bus 30 cuz it was full due to the morning student crowd. squeezed up the next 30 that came along with tkgs, chung cheng main, broadrick and some malay religious school kids. i re-lived my uniformed sch days this morning i swear.
got to hall late, but it doesn't matter cuz everyone else were late too. lemme tell u y i was back in hall first. we were expecting international students to move in and becuz i'm a councillor, me and the rest of the good lads waited in the stupid lobby for the foreigners to check in to blk A. but we waited for what felt like 2 hours b4 the first person turned up and i dun even remember who that honoured chap was. the whole day blk A councillors were juz sitting ard in that stupid lobby WAITING for pple to check in. which was cool. we didn't haf to make so many trips back into the blk, which saves us the trouble from walking to and fro w/o coded matric cards.
the indians and malaysians who checked in today didn't look so bad. in fact, they look friendly and hopefully, they are friendly. didn't interact with the indians much, uh, juz didn't feel like it. there's this law guy who's like really funny *roll eyes* i mean he's humourous and all, but i think we'll all have to get used to his warped humour. i'll tell u about this underwear joke he made if u beg me. we've got a pretty malaysian girl in the blk! at least most of us thinks she's pretty. brought them out to lunch and dinner, nothing out of the ordinary happened.
oh i've gotta mention that aaron and hh were really nice to take 30 with me. they missed quite a few buses, but i'm grateful for the company!! =) nice lads!!
and i'm moving back tmr! i've been pretty excited about moving back. now that i'm really gonna move back, i dun think i'm quite ready. there're so much things i havent packed.
i hope that my new rm doesn't attract unwelcomed bugs, insects, cockroaches, lizards, millipeede (whatever) and any disgusting creepy crawlies or flying yuckies. cuz my old rm used to have those yuckies once in a while. muahaha... gd luck to whoever's gonna stay there. but at least the neighbours r nice pple =)

yesterday, i caught bourne identity with jy at fort canning's starlight cinema. thanks to eunice who gave me the tics =) the crowd was pretty huge, unexpectedly. nice show. great weather. wet grass, but my nice groundsheet's water-proof =) too bad the season tics expire this sat, or else we could've caught more movies under the stars.
today the nice swoc coucillors woke up early to get our asses back in hall for worksession and goodie-bags packing and mass dance. i must say the goodie-bag looks really good with all the freebies. seriously gd stuff in them. mass dance was okay... did blocking and all. hopefully we'll look good on stage shaking our asses like crazy.
i'm pretty excited about orientation now. it's only a lil more than a week away!! re-living orientation all over again. but this time, the coucillors call the shots! muahahaha *evil laugh* those freessshiieeesss... *louder evil laugh*

for the first time, i felt really uncomfortable from eating too much. there was this pukey feeling that was really yucky. first, i had dinner and durian at my grandparents' place as usual cuz it's sunday. then, it was ba chor mee & chicken wings & teh peng at 85 with jy. 2 dinners in a nite could kill. i almost died. but all those food were really good! shouldn't have over done the eating.

the past 3 days spent in hall for SWOC trial camp was pretty uninteresting and sometimes boring. reason being i was tired out from redang, and also there weren't a lot of senior participation at the camp cuz only beidi turned up.
mass dance was fun! except that today, we mass danced from the time we woke up till late lunch time. i enjoyed learning the dance. SWOC coucillors rock! =) the coucillors r really a fun bunch of monkeys (some r juz damn enthu and active, i.e. NOT blk A coucillors)
there's no explanation y blk A coucillors r not daaamn enthu and active. it's something innate in all of us. me, hh, kg, aaron and han. we kena shot by swoc shuwen at the end of de-brief on the first day of trial camp. she reminded everyone not to be late for meeting the next day, and added that blk A coucillors r always late. muahaha... we're cool.
I TOUCHED DRUMS FOR THE FIRST TIME!! i played basic beats that aaron taught me. it's damn addictive! im glad there was this trial camp, otherwise i'd nv get a chance to play drums and see the old guys jam. damn fun.

i absolutely love redang.
the travelling sucked so much, but redang made it all worth it, really. the place is what MY paradise looks like, except my paradise is not so commercialized and full of pple i do not know.
the sea is soooo blue and clear in redang. the sand is goddam soft and the place is juz fabulous, and the scenery is juz breathtaking.
the first day at redang, we juz swam in the sea, floating around and enjoying the sun on our skin, and salt on our tongues. it felt so wonderful to be relieved of so many things and juz enjoy the time and nature. we were all so excited when serm spotted some small fishes in the water. we walked down the beach at nite and ventured into other resorts' beaches. talked and watched the stars.
we went snorkelling out at marine park the next day and saw lots more fishes. different kinds of fish like promfets, and urm, lotsa other breeds-i-dunno-what. i felt pretty disgusted at first when i saw so many schools of fishes big and small. UGH, those scaley fishes. the corals were mostly dead according to hatta cuz they were all brown and colorless. the current swept some of us out of the boundary and we didn't even realized it until eunice hit the rocks near a cliff. snorkelling got quite boring after that.
BUT the highlight was, we went back to snorkel in the resort's beach and i saw 6 baby sharks out in the deeper waters!! the feeling was exhilarating. at first i spotted only 2, and then slowly one by one joined in and the baby sharks were juz circling in the deep water. the only sharks i saw in my life were those in the sentosa's underwater world, wisma's aquarium and airport's aquariums. seeing those baby sharks in real life, and swimming in the same sea as em was really more than juz good.
it was really sad that we had to leave redang on the 3rd day. i wish i could stay there for another 2 days of forever. i love the place so much. the boat trip back to terengannu mainland was long, but i didn't want it to end. i love the sun, sea, and sand.
but i won't go back to redang again cuz the travelling's really tiring. maybe i'll go to bintan or tioman or bali next.
i miss redang.

i'm leaving sg in another 8 hours time. don't miss me.
i'll be in the sunny island of pulau redang, m'sia from 4-6 july. and will be back on the 7th.
then i'll be away, from 8-10 july for SWOC orientation trial camp. will be staying in sheares, so i'm still contactable if anyone misses me. hor jy? =)
for whoever's interested, i bought a pair of black flip flop! (yes, i can hear SW sighing.)

AFRO rocks!
had a good time out with some of the Afro pple. went bowling (i merely watched), played daytona, whacked pool, ate korean bbq! too bad the rest (freshies & seniors) weren't able to make it due to a variety of reasons. it would be more fun with more pple ard. but it was fun anyways, catching up and all. we all sure enjoyed the food, cuz everyone could hardly sit down after all the chicken, mutton, beef, soup, blah blah blah. NICE =)
oh, hung out at starbucks after dinner. will upload the photos soon!
it's nice to go out with new friends. there's so much to find out about them, er, scandals mostly. i really hope they'll all get posted to sheares hall =)
i foresee a very good beginning of a new year of hall life.
