Here's us on the ferry to Batam. Cindy can sleep everywhere.
We stayed in this "house". It has 2 bedrooms with air-conditioning, 2 bathrooms, a very spacious living room with dining area and slacking area, and also a mini-cooking area. Very comfortable for 4.
Our last meal. 8-course lunch for 6. The manager seems like a generous man. But then again, we were treated like VIP thanks to cindy's family friend, uncle Toh.
Mellie & the jacuzzi. We paid sgd38 each and enjoyed 20 min of jacuzzi, a foot scrub and an hour of full body massage. Really pampered ourselves that day. Went for hair wash for sgd4. Mani/Pedicure for sgd20. Cheap cheap!
The spa villa has a seaview. We had our massage at night so it wasn't much of a view. But hearing the waves crashing while being massaged was nice. It was the first time I had a fully body massage and all I can say was that it was quite an - experience.
Batam has Hello Panda dips!!! Like Yan Yan like that! And flavours that are not available in Singapore I think. Cookies & Cream Hello Panda, have you eaten that before?! Salmon Teriyaki Lays too! I didn't like that. Tasted like salmon.
Donuts from J.Co. KK is still better. This is probably comparable with the Donut Factory in Singapore. Though the chocolate isn't that good. Cuz I heard that Indo/Malaysia's manufactured chocolates lack a certain ingredient so it's not that tasty. The glazed donut smells like KK's original glaze. The dough is not as great. Certain flavours are pretty good. Cheap cheap. sgd9 for a dozen.
This is the wrecked Sentosa. Looks so.. sad.
That's it for the Batam trip update. Did lots of catching up with the girls and it was just great hanging out together. =) Let's go it again sometime. Batam View next? Yuxin, your attendance will be compulsary then.
