the song we all heard in Cartel is "I Still" by Backstreet Boys. BACKSTREET BOYS (hear well?)! it's so band-ish, and so un-boyband-ish. anyway, i thought the lyrics quite reflect someone well. except that my advice will stay to close the door. it's difficult but it's what you have to do.

i'll stand by you (all my friends), but i have my opinions (you may or may not agree or sometimes it's just too hard) and i just hope you all will do the right things, and i hope that if i ever get into situations which blind me and cause me to do things you all don't deem right, please tell me too ok? that's what friends are for. =)
