indoor volleyball... ROCKS. waiting sucks.
we reached NTU hall 2 at about 3.20 pm, 20 minutes late. it was drizzling the whole day and all over the goddam island. so the court was wet. ya anyway, when we reached the court, there were like 15 of our vb girls (estimated number) and 4 hall 2 girls. great, we were late, and they were even later. i have to mention that the court is in the hall 2 compound. what the hell. we had to wait for what felt like 1 hour for the "star player" of hall 2 to arrive. and for that 1 hour, we warmed up in the drizzle. the water-soaked balls were so freaking heavy, and we had to juz kept volleying the balls, till all our arms hurt. all our arms were so dirty cuz of the freaking balls and the freaking rain. 1 freaking hour. it was annoying to the max.
when finally the "star player" arrived, we started the match. alas, the drizzle grew bigger. we only got to serve like 4 times and the game had to be stopped due to bad weather. talking about it right now juz makes my blood boil. went down all the way there juz to wait, and get our moods dampen.
took shelter. and waited for the rain to stop but it didn't. we predicted it wouldn't stop anyway.
so i made myself better by buying a pair of FBT shorts from the supermarket. ya, hall 2 has a supermarket, and a hair salon. but what i like best about the place is the canteen. it's a food court lor!! air conditioned, and the food looked sooooooo gooooooood. but hall 2 looks damn old lar. i mean, it's the second oldest hostel in NTU, can't have high expectations.
well, the hall 2 pple managed to book an indoor court at NIE, so we transported ourselves there. it was the heaven of all the volleyball courts (indoors, air-con and all). sad to say that we lost. but team spirit was there. and that made it a really good experience.
the guys match was kick-butt exciting. the girls went oooh and aaaah and even screamed when we thought we were going to lose a point. damn nice to watch. hall 2 has no good looking vb guys in case you wanna know. most of them were ajc players, who are infamous for their arrogance. oh well, sure they were arrogant. but when u're not good looking, it's best not to be arrogant. that's my opinion lar. if u don't think so, i don't care what u think.
tired.
vb rocks.
