i would rate my day as pretty interesting today. lemme tell u why. brace yourself for a boring blog entry about what i did the whole of today.
woke up at 8am cuz there was vb training at 10am. but i reached SRC at 10.30am and i think the captain wasn't too happy about it cuz she told me at the end of the training that i should try to be there earlier even though she said i could be a little late since i don't stay in hall and have to travel from home. i understand that trainings starting late isn't a good thing, but i really did try my best. i woke up at bloody 8am. and ok, bus 60 was kind as it came when i reached the bus stop. but i had to wait like 15 minutes for the goddamn bus 30. so if bus 30 had came like earlier, i wouldn't have been so late. seriously, it's just bad luck. and i don't blame anyone or anything for me being late. and i definitely don't blame bus 30 for not arriving once i reached the bus stop. so ya, it's a pointless paragraph.
the sun was merciless today. m-e-r-c-i-l-e-s-s. my face is flushed and i'm darker again, even with sun block applied. the sun really drains the energy out of me. i didn't set properly again today. that's nothing new. but i thought it's good that i know that i suck. ya, so now u know that i suck. so ya, another pointless statement.
had and 2 bowls of dessert for lunch. damn shiooook. then accompanied sw to YIH to claim her hospital fees. returned to hall to hang around. oh i skipped my track training cuz my big toes hurt when i run. i'm not sure if it's my shoes, or it's just me. but the most likely reason for the painful toes is that i run and stop very often, being the setter, and therefore my 2 big toes always hurt after vb trainings. ya, so, i've decided i should give my toes a break. the purple spot on my right big toenail seems to be spreading.
*drum rolls*....... and the best part of the day was DINNER! SAKURA @ GINZA!! TOM YAM!! ahhhhh.. my stomach still has the warm and fuzzy feeling... from the tom yam. =) dinner was great!! ahhhhh... i love tom yam... if u haven't noticed =)
helped sw and alvin with their VC salvation army's bbq shopping at giant. (ya lar i know i'm a bit of a lightbulb, spare me that comment in my tag hehe) the stupid baleno in IMM don't have the pair of shorts of the right size for me!! argh, bedok doesn't have. parkway doesn't have. IMM doesn't have. wth. didn't know so many girls are as fat as i am. damn. not sure if that's a good thing. but the shorts are really nice and it costs only $15 after 40% storewide discount. bbq shopping just now has made me more prepapred for the blk comm bbq shopping this wed. we'll need 2 trolleys, and a lot more manpower.
and then it was COBH meeting in hall. nothing exciting. cept i was the only silly one who brought the -game- down. bow and arrows. it's quite nice to play with by the way. and it only cost $4 from a mama shop in bedok central. revival of the memories of childhood days.
yaaaay and serm sent eunice, me, jason and jerm home after my meeting! thank u serm!! u're the best!! don't get the wrong impression ok. u know how i feel about u *blushes*. pls drive safely at all times ya. =)
and so i rate my day as interesting. cuz it's packed from 8am to 1am. but it's not a busy day, cuz most of the stuffs i did was impromptu. like the lunch, and the visit to YIH, and skipping of track training, and TOM YAM *OOOHHHHHHHH*, and giant, and the lift home. =)
impromptu decisions are fun. makes life more exciting. unlike planned events that do not happen, it just leaves u empty.
i'll go join my siblings in front of the tv. they're laughing like hyenas watching the american funniest home videos. =) love those kids.
